Maison avec jardin et piscine privée située dans le petit village de Pieve San Giovanni, au cœur des campagnes des alentours de la ville d’Arezzo distante environ 10km.
La maison, ancien moulin à huile se trouve dans un village, jouit d’une position tranquille grâce à un grand jardin équipé avec un beau pavillon et une piscine hors-terre qui donne sur les collines.
L’ameublement est confortable. A environ 4km, Ponte à Buriano, village situé sur les rives du fleuve Arno et dont l’ancien pont figure sur le plus fameux des chefs-d’œuvre de Leonard de Vinci : la Gioconde.
Nombreuses liaisons avec Florence, Orvieto Rome, etc, de la gare ferroviaire d’Arezzo.
Distances : Pieve san Giovanni avec magasins alimentaires et restaurant à 30m, supermarché à env. 4km, Arezzo avec magasins variés et gare ferroviaire à env. 10km, Cortona à 41km, la région du Chianti Classico à env. 60km, Sienne à 70km, la région du Val d’Orcia à 80km, Florence à 90km.

Excellent stay with a big family outside Arezzo. Better than the pictures - which is rare. Good size kitchen and lounge and versatile sleeping arrangements which suited the group. Good distances to Arezzo, Siena, Florence etc. You do need a car but we had 3 cars and it was spacious enough for more. Really recommend for like 5 or 6 couples with rental cars or big families. Great for kids! Our daughter didn’t want to leave the house. Communication with owner was easy. I recommend! And we will probably be back.

Sehr schönes Anwesen mit viel Platz in ruhiger Lage. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unsere Familie verbrachte hier einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Wenn man Ruhe sucht ist man hier richtig.

Brilliant place. Loads of space — several rooms, so no squabbles over snoring. Perfect for big families, groups of friends, or anyone travelling with a small army. It’s got that rustic Italian feng shui — peaceful, scenic, and suspiciously good for your soul. Dogs loved it too: fully fenced garden, which they treated like their personal estate. Kitchen’s a gem: massive table that could host Tony Soprano’s crew (and their appetites). Great for long meals or late-night plotting. Bonus: the legendary Fattoria La Vialla is just a 30-minute hike over the hill — exercise with a reward at the end. And the host? Absolute star. Friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful.

Tolles Haus und schöne Anlage, super Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Insgesamt absolut 5 von 5 Sternen. Einzig, dass die Klimaanlage nur remote vom Hausbesitzer zu steuern ist, möchte ich hier informativ erwähnen.

The place is really nice very close to Arezzo and to lots of places around Toscana. It was big for all the couples to be able to have their own bedrooms and bathrooms. Big kitchen with all the appliances that we needed.

Wir haben mit der ganzen Familie eine Woche in der Villa Lorena verbracht und ( außer dem mäßigen Wetter ) gab es wircklich nichts auszusetzen. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der Garten ist groß und komplett eingezäunt, was dem Hundebesitzer viel Freude bereitet. Paolo und auch seine Eltern sind sehr hilfsbereit und herzlich. Daher kann ich nur sagen, sehr empfehlenswert und mille grazie

Die Klimaanlage wird zentral vom Manager für alle Zimmer gesteuert, was wirklich schade ist. Große antike Villa mit Charme
Riesiger Garten und toller Sitzbereich. Herrlich ruhige Lage in einer Kleinstadt. Sehr umfangreiche Ausstattung
Das Einzige wären ein paar neue Pfannen und ein Toaster. Mit herrlicher Aussicht. Zimmer unterschiedlicher Größe und Ausstattung
Leider haben einige Zimmer keine Moskitonetze, die Duschen sind sehr eng, ansonsten gut ausgestattet, Besitzer für alle Fragen erreichbar

We had a wonderful time in villa lorena. The house is spacious, the garden and pool bigger than expected and you find everything you need there. You have a great Pavillon and everything is very private. Also the hosts were friendly and helpful when we needed them.

Ein hervorragendes Haus, ein toller Garten und eine unglaubliche Aussicht! Der Urlaub war extrem erholsam dank der tollen Gastfreundschaft! Wir werden unseren Urlaub extrem gut in Erinnerung behalten! Ich kann dieses Haus jeden empfehlen, die Vermieter waren super nett! Einzig auf die Mücken muss man sich vorbereiten, sonst: makellos!!

It was a beautiful expirience to live for one week in the villa Lorena. Paolo was super nice and responded fast to every answer we had to the house. The house was really clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.

An amazing house with better veiw than on pictures. The house was fantastic, great bedrooms and living spaces. Garden and pool is amazing and bigger than I thought. The host is really easy to communicate with and very helpful in every way. It was clean and well organized! I recommend this house for a peaceful cosy stay in Toscany!

Wunderschönes großes Haus in einer traumhaften Landschaft. Herrlicher komplett umzäunter Garten (ideal mit Hund) und sehr schöner Pool. Sehr nette und extrem hilfsbereite Vermieter, egal ob später Check-in (durch unsere Autopanne verursacht) oder fehlende Sitzkissen für den Garten, alles wurde von Paolo und Patricia sofort und unkonventionell gelöst. Das ist wirklich eine 5 Sterne-Plus-Bewertung wert!! Ein ideales Ferienhaus für den Mehrgenerationen-Familien-Urlaub in einer traumhaften Gegend. Allerdings braucht man ein Auto, da vor Ort keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit vorhanden ist. Unbedingt einen Besuch bei der Fattoria La Vialla mit einplanen , kann man mit einer sehr schönen Wanderung verbinden. Fazit: es war ein Traumurlaub. Danke an Paolo und Patricia für eure Hilfe in allen Situationen!

The villa is lovely, set on the side of a peaceful village with views over the olive groves. Patricia and her family are very friendly and helpful and obviously proud of the house. We had a great time sitting out in the sun, having family meals around the large kitchen table and relaxing in all the space! Plenty of car parking and you will need a car to make the most of surrounding Tuscany.

Gorgeous, spacious villa, just loved how much space we had to spread out. The hosts kept the pool open for us which was a real treat. They were really thoughtful and considerate and responsive throughout our stay. The house is lovely but not so pristine that we were worried about our 5 year old and 2 year old running around it. Really supportive of you bringing children - cots, high chair and slides were provided for our stay.

Very spacious inside with a traditional farmhouse atmosphere and furnishings. Garden and pool were lovely on hot sunny days. Great location for visiting villages, and Arezzo. Property has inside steps throughout so not on one level and plumbing is not perfect but we could easily manage for a week. Very quiet location in a village and can walk to the local excellent pizzeria.

Beautiful villa.so lovely and spacious. Really well set out for a family of 3 generations sharing (or families /friend's) Plenty of room for all to have private space.
It was well equipped and comfortable. Some people of a larger size may find the showers a little small but bathrooms were a good size.
The view from the garden was beautiful.
Arezzo was a 20 minute drive approximately and a lovely town with many excellent restaurants.

Beautiful home for a quiet retreat in Tuscany. Close to many Tuscan towns and hamlets as well as vineyards and farms. Perfect space for a group traveling together. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room to spread out. The villa has everything you need to cook in and is close to Arezzo for dining out. The views are gorgeous and sunset is incredible. Wonderful stay! Thank you!

We stayed there as a family of 12 people in totals. 6 grown ups and 6 children from 4-15. The house has the charm of a tuscanian villa and we liked it a lot. Would be nice if there would be a pool robot to clean during night. Also some kitchen utensils, such as the hand blender should be renewed. Some simple games or balls etc. for children would be great for families. In August there were a lot of mosquitos so repellent is needed during evening time. Overall we had a splendid time and Paolo and his parents were always available and very helpful. There is a restaurant nearby but unfortunately the owner is not very friendly ti foreigners not speaking Italian. But in the surrounding villages and in Arezzo there are a lot of restaurants and osterias with delicious food and very friendly and helpful staff. Overall we would definitely visit Tuscany again and stay in the villa as well.

Amazing stay! Would definitely recommend, we had 10 family members ranging from age 11 - 75 and we all enjoyed every minute and the Villa was the centre of it all!

We have greatly enjoyed our stay at Villa Lorena.
The villa offers plenty of space inside and outside for our party of 11 (6 adults, 4 kids and an 18 month old baby). We have particularly appreciated that the garden was secured for our baby. The pool was open and fun for the kids and the adults even if it was a little cold in April.
The site seeing and the location in a small village were perfect with great walking rides from the villa.
Arezzo downtown is only 20mn away and it is a very nice city to visit, not as crowded as Siena or Firenze (sooo crowded that you should avoid it).
A big thanks to the owners that were very kind and responsive to our needs.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine . Patrizia a été très accueillante et elle parle bien français. La maison est très bien placée , on peut faire de belles balades en prenant le chemin du cimetière. La région est sauvage avec une nature époustouflante. Nous avons beaucoup aimé Arezzo et bien sur nous avons visité Florence , sienne et Pienza. La pizzeria du village est très bonne. Nous avons vu tant de belles choses pendant cette semaine ! C’ était aussi très pratique pour notre chien car tout est clôturé. Nous étions deux familles chacune dans une partie de la maison, ce qui était très pratique aussi . C était un très bon séjour pour tout le monde !

Wie haben eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht! Auch wenn das Wetter etwas frisch war, haben wir es uns dringen gemütlich gemacht und die pompöse Küche genutzt- die übrigens sehr gut ausgestattet war!

Tolles großes Haus, alles ist geräumig und angenehm. Ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung, aber die hat Charme. Wir waren im Herbst dort mit zwei Familien und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Toskana pur mit Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer auf die Ebene mit Bergen im Hintergrund und Olivenhain. Wir kommen gerne wieder, sehr freundliche Besitzer.

A beautiful authentic Tuscan villa in the heart of Italy. We were a family of 6 who thoroughly enjoyed a two week stay. We were met by Paolo who was readily available for any queries we had during our stay. The pool was a big hit with the kids and we all really appreciated the air conditioning in all the bedrooms. You need a car to explore the region. We took trips to Florence, Siena, Pisa, Montepulciano and lake Trasimeno. The two weeks flew by. We would definitely recommend a stay in Villa Lorena !

Sehr schönes Haus im typischen Toskanastil. Liegt in einem ruhigen Örtchen etwas abseits - dafür gibt es eine zwar einfache Pizzeria 5 Min. zu Fuss entfernt - aber mit einer exzellenten Küche und sehr nettem Personal. Zur Pizzeria gehört auch ein kleines Geschäft in dem man das nötigste für Frühstück etc. bekommt. Für größere Einkäufe sind ca 15 Min Fahrt zu einen Coop in Arezzo einzuplanen. Zu empfehlen ist auch der Besuch der Fattoria la Vialla in Castiglion Fibocchi, entweder ca 1 Stunde zu Fuss (Achtung relativ langes steiles Stück bergauf beim Rückweg) oder 10 Minuten Fahrt mit Auto. Das Haus besitzt einen Garten, indem sich evtl Kinder (und auch Erwachsene) austoben/erholen können. Der Pool ist durch einen Zaun abgegrenzt, somit auch kindersicher. Am Pool fehlen allerdings leider 1-2 Sonnenschirme. Probleme/Problemchen hat Paolo (jederzeit per (Hidden by Airbnb) oder Telefon erreichbar - Kommunikation in Englisch) umgehend beheben lassen. Wir waren mit 9 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern in dem Haus und haben einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub verbracht.

Amazing! We had such a great week at Casa Lorena!! Highly recommend to anyone! Paolo was super kind, quick to respond and even brought us some tennis rackets. The house looks just like pictured and the value is great for the price. Everything is super clean, the pool and garden are great and the views over Tuscan landscape will stay with us for a long time. Thank you Paolo for one of the best air bnb stays we have ever had - we hope to be back soon!

Die Villa war sehr groß, sauber und war in einer tollen Lage in einem kleinen Ort an dem es alles vor der Haustüre gibt. Spielplatz Tennisplatz, Restaurant. Der Pool ist in einer super Lage mit Blick auf die toskanische Landschaft. Er ist eingezäunt sodass kleine Kinder nicht selber zum Pool können. An Haushaltsgeräten war alles vorhanden und die Vermieter sind stets erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder herkommen.

Das Haus ist autentisch und wunderbahr, einen geeigneten Platz zur Erholung, Die Zimmer sind gross, Küche ist alles vorhanden was es Braucht, Geräte funktionieren alle.
Zimmer gross mit genügend Stauraum / Bettwäsche und Frottee vorhanden.
Umgebung Top, Ausflüge nach Pisa, Florenz und Arezzo gemacht.
Bewirtschafter kommt sofort wenn etwas ist, für Fragen ist er immer erreichbahr.

Die tolle Lage in den malerischen Hügeln oberhalb Arezzos. Schöner Garten samt Pool im Olivengarten! Sehr nette, hilfsbereite aber zurückhaltende Gastgeber Jede Menge Mücken! (Achtung Allergiker) Magere Küchenausstattung für Selbstversorger und leider unbequeme Sitzmöbel und Betten.

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung, tolle Lage, schön ruhig, nettes verschlafenes Dörfchen mit günstiger, aber superguter Pizzeria. Die Besitzer wohnen nebenan und sind megafreundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit, bei meinem nächsten Besuch lade ich sie auf jeden Fall zu einem BBQ Dinner ein. Die Stadt Arezzo ist 10min entfernt und die Städtchen Montepulciano, Anghiari, Cortona usw. liegen für Tagesausflüge in Reichweite.

Es war eine sehr schöne Woche mit viel Spass im Pool und im Garten.Die Eigentümer sind äußerst nette Leute und sehr hilfsbereit. Unsere Hunde hatten auch viel Freude, in dem großen Garten zu toben. Einziges Manko: in der Küche fehlt Küchenutensil (wie Kaffemaschine, Wasserkocher, Wassergläser).

Leider war das Geschirr nicht ganz sauber. Aufgrund der schlechten Verständigung haben wir dies dann nicht reklamiert und einfach selbst schnell aufgewaschen.
Für 4 Personen finde ich das Haus angemessen, nicht wie angegeben für 6. Mir würde es nicht gefallen, wenn ich im Treppenhaus schlafen müsste, da zwei Betten im Treppenhaus stehen.
Aber ansonsten war der Aufenthalt schön, die Vermieter hat man nicht gehört und waren bei kleinen Problemen erreichbar. Und am Ende hat die Kommunikation dank Googl-Übersetzer funktioniert.

Big garden, spacious rooms and despite the fact the owners lived in a part of the house, they granted us total privacy! Very helpful and friendly land lady and son, who spoke perfect English.
There were no comfortable chairs. Not at the pool, not in the garden and not in the house. The beds were pretty hard as well, although we got used to that.

We've had a very nice stay at the accomodation Villa Lorena: just a half hour from the city Arezzo and in the heart of the Tuscan region. Citys Firenze, San Gimignano and Siena are at driveable distance. The house itself is suitable for 4 adults with 1 large and 1 smaller bedroom. The 2 bathrooms were okay but showers are very small. The private swimming pool outside makes largely up for it and alsof the garden is amazing! The hostess is very friendly and speaks both Italian and French. She lives at the same location but in a different accomodation with separate entrance so your privacy is garanteed.

Die Villa Lorena und der Garten hat uns mit ihrem Charme begeistert!
Die Fotos täuschen nicht, man bekommt was einem versprochen wird.
Die Lage war ruhig, also perfekt zum Entspannen. Der Pool war groß und sauber, es gab sogar Luftmatratzen vor Ort, die von unserer ganzen Familie gerne genutzt wurden.
Auch die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet was man für den Alltag braucht, der Außengrill kam auch mehrmals zum Gebrauch.
Eventuell wären die Wände (Innenanstrich) noch renovierungsbedürftig, auch draußen das Pflaster zur Gartenlaube , eine kleine Überholung würde definitiv nicht schaden.
Die Vermieter waren sehr freundich, sie haben uns mehrmals Tipps für Restaurants und Weinguts gegeben.
Wir sind rundum zufrieden mit unserem zwei-wöchigen Urlaub in der Toskana. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schöner Garten,tolle Lage ,schöner Pool,nette Vermieterin,das Haus selbst zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das ginge mit etwas Farbe besser.

Das Haus war ein richtiges Erlebnis. Wir haben uns mit Kindern und Hund sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Schwimmbad war sauber, das Haus auch, wir hatten viel Spaß in schöner Umgebung. Alles war irgendwie ganz „einfach“. Vielen Dank dafür.

Die Villa war sauber und groß, die Umgebung sehr schön, die Lage im Ort perfekt. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Frühsommer Woche und empfehlen die Villa gerne weiter.
